Even though The Avengers is still the top draw at the box office, Marvel Studios has announced a release date for the DVD and Blu-Ray, plus the special features to be included.

Couple of things to note based on the special features information. First, the extended scene between Banner and the security guard reportedly gives more explanation as to why and how Banner has complete control of the Hulk at the end of the film.
Second, the one-shot could be something about Agent Coulson, since there have been past one-shots about the popular S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.
Finally, there is an alternate ending. 'Nuf said.
