The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters on July 3 and there is potentially some information on this movie saying it has a Marvel Studios-esque mid-credits scene, so make sure you stay through half of the credits to see it.
This is where we say SPOILER ALERT and if you don't want to know what the mid-credits scene is please STOP reading now. If you dare to see what's in store, please scroll down.
Per Media Stinger:
"The extra scene shows an imprisoned Curt Conners who is visited by a mysterious man. A brief exchange of dialogue ensues, and Curt warns him to leave Peter Parker alone. The man, hidden in the shadows, is believed to be Norman Osbourne. [sic]"
Let's just hope Osborn doesn't wear a mask and that he is more the version of the Green Goblin from Marvel's Ultimate comic universe where he is literally a monster (see image below). That's the version of the Goblin which is a must for the big screen and the dark tone of this newly rebooted Spidey. (Sorry Sam Raimi but your version of Goblin was terrible, in our opinion.)
